Arizona Teachers and Classrooms

All teachers and schools can use some financial help.

On average, each teacher spends $745 on classroom supplies and material needed for the class. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, these needs are increased because of distance learning and inability for students to share equipment and supplies.

We are pleased to announce that YCEF has partnered with Prescott Sunrise Lions Club making donations eligible for Arizona Tax Credit. Donate today and earn dollar for dollar tax credit against your Arizona income taxes.

YCEF MISSION

We Provide Funding For Educational Projects

Today, more than ever, our schools, our educators and our students need to develop and sustain effective and creative classroom instruction that will make a positive and lasting impact on our future generation.

The mission of YCEF is to provide funding for education related projects particularly in classrooms supporting disadvantaged communities, recognize outstanding educators in each of our schools and promote awareness of the positive impact of our Yavapai County Schools.

Positively Impacting Future Generations

Our focus is on education related projects particularly in classrooms supporting disadvantaged communities. We recognize outstanding educators in our schools and promote awareness of the positive impact of our future generations.

Supporting Yavapai County Education Since 1994

Staying true to our mission, YCEF focuses on Classroom and School Grant Programs. Both of these programs reward teachers with funding for educational related projects through grants that directly impact student’s learning.

Founded By Community Leaders With Education In Mind

As a private, non-profit organization, the YCEF is administered by a volunteer board comprised of local business, education and community leaders that are representative of the entire county.

Gratitude From Exceptional Teachers In Our Community

Inspiring Future Tech Students

I want to say thank you for the approval of my classroom grant! I am so grateful for this grant! This will help buy the supplies and equipment for my students to build and program robotics from the ground up. My students will be using these supplies and equipment daily in the classroom. I wanted to email the foundation and tell you how grateful I am for this grant! Thank you again for everything you do for the teachers in Yavapai County.

Creating Memories & Sportsmanship

The $500 YCEF grant made it possible for the Prescott Valley School’s Archery team get 3 boxes of new arrows. With the previous arrows, they were redone many times and worn down. Three boxes of new arrows will now last our archery team many years of use.

Sports help these students learn sportsmanship, value of work, and build memories. Without new equipment, our sports wouldn’t be possible. Thank you, YCEF, for the grant that helped our archery team this year, and years to follow! View Full Presentation Here.

Enabling Hands On Learning

My students and I wanted to thank you for awarding us the grant. We are so appreciative of this grant because it provided us with much needed STEM items! My kindergarten students love hands on learning which we know is the best way for them to learn. We are so grateful to you all for allowing our love us STEM learning to continue this year and many years to come. I hope you enjoy the pictures of our class exploring with our new items. Again thank you so much for this opportunity.
